I am a mature student (55), nearing the end of my degree. I am responsible for the craft pages on this site and based the crafty business on what I have learnt first hand. I currently run my own craft business and work full time for West Lindsey District Council as a Communications Officer.
I started my business in September 2013 selling bags, but moved into bespoke keepsake cushions in January 2014 and haven’t looked back since. I am now looking at reducing my hours at the council to be in a position to fulfil the orders I am receiving from as far away as Canada and USA.
Michael Beecroft I am 21 years old and a current undergraduate student at the University of Lincoln where I am studying Journalism. I am responsible for most of the sports hobbies for the website. As a keen lover of sports I have the knowledge and background experience to give information to you on a number of different sports.
Louise Smith I am a 20-year-old Journalism student at the University of Lincoln. I am responsible for the collection and observation hobbies, but will tend to dabble in all hobbies as I love to try everything. Should you like to know about a specific hobby please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to help you out.
Jake Green I am a 20-year-old student at the University of Lincoln, studying a BA Honours in Journalism. I am mainly responsible for the comedy section of the site, where I write articles that I hope to be both informative and anecdotal, drawing from my own experiences as a Stand-up beginner.
Rob Darcy I too am a 20 year-old Journalism student at the University of Lincoln. I am mainly responsible for the music section of the site, using experiences gained from learning to play different types of guitar, and also playing in a band.
Hello Michael ,just a quick note to say thanks to you and Shelley for listing our association on your excellent website.
We have had quite a few referrals and contacts via your site already.
Even though we have been metal detecting for over 20 years we have only recently gone online in the last year.
It is helping us raise awareness with the general public about all the good work we do in clearing areas of rubbish ,syringes and sharps…..and we manage to save the odd old coin from damaging modern corrosion too!.
So thanks again for having us on your website.
On behalf of all the individual detectorists.
Jack
